6 Tips on How to Figure Out Your Perfect Bridal Style & Design
Planning a wedding is very time consuming and difficult, especially this is a once in a lifetime event and also every girls dream to put on a wedding gown walking down the aisle with her soul mate, everything need to be perfect and anything which is other than perfect can be accepted. Therefore before starting any sketching, I believe every couple would spend a lot of time surveying, researching and collecting every information about wedding.
Tip No. 1 : Source & Collect
Most of the soon to be brides would have a brief idea of what kind of style they would want for their wedding, therefore the next thing to do is to search in internet or Google for the photos of the preferred style as many as possible. However this could be very tricky when searching for photos in Google, you may not get the result you wanted. The important thing here is Keyword, and different keyword may bring you to a different result, so it is wise to try out different keyword. For example if you are looking for a Korean bridal style, you may try different keyword such as "Korean Bridal Style", "Korean Bridal", "Korean Bride", "Korean Wedding". "Korean Bridal Concept". Try not to find photos of the model which has very different face or skin texture or hair texture than yours.
Tip No. 2 : Filter & Shortlist
After collecting quite enough photos you may start to filter through the photos, find the photos which you can't stop staring at it then save it, then delete those which are not okay. During your filtering process, you could put other different factors into consideration such as the wedding gown, color matching and style matching. Those shortlisted photos would definitely be the best of the best.
Tip No. 3 : Mix & Match
Once you got everything filtered and shortlisted, bridal hair style, bridal makeup style, wedding gown, bridal shoes, accessories etc. Then you may start to play a mix and match game, try to match the style you want to the wedding gown you want. Tip No. 4 : Arrangement & Categorize
When you have done your matching and compile them into a numbers of collage photos, now you may categorize them into a different groups then name the groups using the keyword you found in the first tips. You should also know your priority before categorizing. For example if wedding gown is the priority, you may categorize as below.
- Red Wedding Gown (Sexy + Vintage)
- White Wedding Gown (Elegant + Classic)
- Pink Wedding Gown (Sweet + Romantic)
Tip No. 5 : Remark & Postscript
After completing the categorizing, you may now write down important remark which you do not want to missed out during the wedding day. For example you prefer a hair style which have a very clean hair line, a much airy and hair style, a particular pink of the lipstick etc. And there is one more very important thing to note down, which is the things you hate and you DO NOT want them to appear on your wedding day. It could be a particular color or a particular hair style.
Tip No. 6 : Get Advise from your Makeup Artist
There is one thing which I need to remind to all those soon to be brides. During the trial makeup, after explaining and describing the design and style to your Makeup artist, you MUST also seek opinion and suggestion from your Makeup artist because they are definitely more experience in this and professional. Your Makeup artist may make some minor changes as it could be quite impossible to replicate exactly like the photo. There are many factors such as hair length difference, thickness difference or maybe the hairstyle not suitable to your face texture which in this circumstance your Makeup artist may need to use their skill and knowledge to improvise and create a perfect style for you.
