What to Prepare before Bridal Trial Makeup? Frequent Questions from Bride-to-be
During the trial session for the bridal makeup, communication with the makeup artist is very important to find out the best suited makeup for you. I've done trial and actual day bridal makeup for numerous brides and I found out that there are few questions which is commonly asked by the brides. In this blog I compile these questions and briefly answer these questions, hope it helps!
Question No. 1 : Do I need to dye my hair?
Of course there is no rule telling you must dye your hair, there are many brides who prefer black hair rather than colored hair. There is nothing wrong to have a black hair for the wedding, however there is some reasons why people requesting to dye the hair for wedding. One of the reason is that black hair are less effective to highlight the hair line and design. Moreover if your hair volume is thick and less gradation, the overall hairdo design will look thick and heavy, limiting the hair line design. If you wish to dye your hair but still want to have a natural look, you may choose chestnut brown.
Question No. 2 : Can I have natural look eyelash extension?
Eyelash extension has brought a very great convenience to girls who don't like to do eye makeup. However I do not recommend eyelash extension during the wedding day. The reason is that our eyes are not perfectly symmetrical, e.g. different in size. To fix this, we will have to use fake eyelashes or inner eyeliner to adjust the eye shape. Moreover during makeup remover, the eyelash extension may also be removed and this would be very wasteful.
Question No. 3 : Do I have to wear color lens?
Normally color lens will have the effect which makes your iris looks bigger, I normally will recommend brides to wear color lens. This is because some brides will have small iris, makeup will make the eye look bigger which makes the iris look relatively smaller. Therefore by wearing color lens will give the effect of big dolly eyes, your eye will look more attractive. Of course there are brides who have perfectly standard eyes, therefore I will not force brides to must wear color lens.
Question No. 4 : Do I need to go for skincare before trial?
Actually the perfect time to start skincare is a month before your big day. Moisturizer mask can keep your skin moisture thus making your skin looks bright and tender, having a perfect skin for your big day. For those who has skin problem such as acne problem, my suggestion is to go to the professional skin care or doctor for treatment 3 weeks before your big day. NEVER do any treatment to your face within one week before your big day, also DO NOT use skin care product which you never try before to avoid skin allergy which will cause makeup to have difficulty to stay on the skin.
Question No. 5 : I need to prepare all these before Trial?
Trust me, if you prepared all these before the trial. You will definitely look stunning after the makeup trial!

There are also some preparation you may do to help the trial session much easier to find out the best suit makeup and hairdo for you.
